It is possible to have certain properties for your data step to either be included or excluded from the subscriber view. This allows the user to have more control over the looks and controls for the subscriber.
For example, in the following subscriber view, "Date" selection is deemed to be unnecessary for the subscriber view, but necessary for the designer view:
To exclude it from the subscriber view, the following steps are to be taken:
1. Identify the data step which outlines the subscriber view
2. Right click and press "edit data step"
3. Click on your data placeholder and expand the "advance" toggle under "Property Details tab"
4. Under "subscriber view", select "None" to remove property from subscriber view
5. Save Process
The subscriber view should now look the following:
The same steps are to be taken to include a property in the subscriber view. However, instead of selecting "None" in the subscriber view, select "Input" for an input property, and "Output" for an output property.
