The "Copy worksheet" instruction allows you to simply copy a worksheet to a target workbook. This instruction will behave similarly to manually selecting a worksheet and copying it in Excel.
Creating the step
Firstly, create an action step to manipulate data and select "Delete worksheet" in the "Excel" section.
You will then have to first configure the source worksheet by
- linking to a workbook stored in a data step within the process
- selecting the worksheet
Next, you will then have to configure where the worksheet will be copied to by linking to a workbook stored in a data step.
Note: that this can refer to the same workbook as the source.
Finally, you will then need to write down the name of the new worksheet that is pasted in the target workbook.
Note: that there is an option to replace the worksheet if there already exists a worksheet in the target workbook with the indicated worksheet name.
