This article covers the various features available when using the "Multiple file manipulations" action step.
After selecting the "Multiple file manipulations" action step, you will see the following screen:
Here, you will be able to:
- add an instruction
- delete an instruction
- copy an instruction
- move an instruction up/down
- expand/collapse the list of instructions
The "Add instruction" option allows you to choose from a list of available instructions (a pop-up dialog box will appear) to add to the current action step.
The "Delete instruction" option allows you to delete the currently selected instruction.
You can select an instruction by clicking on the relevant instruction.
You can confirm that the appropriate instruction has been selected if there is a grey outline around it as shown below for the "Copy cell formulas" instruction:
The "Copy instruction" option allows you to copy the currently selected instruction (refer to previous section to confirm that the appropriate instruction has been selected) and paste at the end of the list.
The "Move Up" and "Move Down" options allows you to move the currently selected instruction (refer to the "Delete instruction" section to confirm that the appropriate instruction has been selected) up and down the list.
When an action step has been newly opened, the list of instructions appears as below:
However, if you'd like to see more details behind each instruction, you can either individually click on the arrow on the left of each instruction, or use the "Expand All" option to see all instructions.
"Collapse All" allows you to return the view back to the summarised view.
