In certain situations, you may wish to prevent a certain run from being deleted, perhaps due to its significance or to maintain an audit trail for specific runs.
In these cases, you can make use of the "Lock run" feature in SolveXia.
Note: that once a run is locked, the process that the run belongs to is also locked, i.e. the process, as well as the run is locked.
To do this, firstly make sure that you have the "Lock" permissions for the particular run:
Next, simply right-click the relevant run and select "Lock run":
If you have locked the run successfully, the icon for the run will change to a "lock":
And so, the run (and the actual process) cannot be deleted now.
Note: that locking a run is non-reversible, i.e. the run cannot be "un-locked".

This feature is useful when used in conjunction with the "Delete unlocked runs" feature:
And so, a good way to maintain a clean workspace is to ensure all crucial runs are locked and regularly delete unlocked runs.
