Copy chart data from Excel to Word

It is possible to update an embedded chart in a Word document using an Excel as the data source. These are the steps. 

Steps

1. Create a new action step by clicking on three vertical dots (found to the right of the group's name) and then select "Add action step": 

2. Under "Manipulating Data" select "Manipulate Data" 

3. Click "Select Instruction Type" and search for "Copy chart"; select the "Copy chart data from Excel to Word" instruction.

4. Link the Excel range that contains the chart data as the source [1] and a Word document with an embedded chard as the target [2]. 

Then define the target cell where the data from Excel will be copied into the Word document [3]
