Checkboxes can be used in processes as a way for the end-user in the Subscriber View to answer a simple Yes/No question.
This data step property can be used in conjunction with an "Update cell value" instruction, as it will appear as a Boolean (TRUE or FALSE) in Excel. This can then be used in conjunction with a "Decision control step" to control process flow depending on user input.
How to set up a checkbox data step property
1. Open the process.
2. Open the data step.
3. Create Checkbox data step property.
4. Set up User value and Default value.
5. Click Save.
