This article explains how to run a process in subscriber view.
Consider the simple process below, which takes some inputs, including basic run parameters and some source files to produce an Actuals vs Summary report for a CFO:
The process is represented as a series of steps (#1 - Set run parameters and #2 - Upload monthly files) which require inputs and some results which will be populated when the run completes.
To input your data:
- Click on a step to expand (or collapse) it:
In the example above, the "Set Run Parameters" step contains two input properties including a date selector for the reporting period and a drop-down for currency. - Update any properties:
Files can be uploaded by dragging and dropping from your folder:
You can also download the existing file in a placeholder by clicking on the file name (in blue).
To run the process:
Once you have supplied all of your inputs, to run your pocess:
- Go to the last step (before results) and click "Run Process":
- The process should then start to execute, showing ongoing progress (of the run):
Hover over "What is this?" under the progress bar (in SolveXia) to learn more about it. - When the process finishes running, the results section should become active and reveal any outputs that the process designer has configured for you:
