You can view and edit Excel files directly within Solvexia. This makes it easy to complete your work, eliminating the need to download and re-upload files to update data in your process.
How to Edit Files
To edit a file in Solvexia, click on the horizontal dots icon and select “Edit”:
The editor will launch in a new tab:
Edit the file, just like you would on your desktop. You can:

Interact with the workbook, including navigating sheets, cells, filters and charts.

Change the contents of cells.

Write and update formulas.

Add and remove content (including cells, rows, columns and sheets).
The editor automatically saves your work. When you are finished with your changes, close the tab. The updated file (including your changes) is immediately ready to use with your process.
Note: The editor is compatible with files with an XLSX/M/B, CSV and ODS extension.

| What is the maximum size of the file that I can edit? | Files must be less than 10MB to be enabled for editing within Solvexia. |
| Will all of my Excel formulas work in the editor? | The editor supports most Excel formulas, except for some of the newest functions (i.e. those released in the last few years such as XLOOKUP). |
| Will the editor support all of the formatting in my workbooks? | Yes, however, you may find small differences in how information is presented in the editor vs on your desktop version of Excel. |
| Does the editor show more advanced functionality in Excel files like charts and pivot tables? | Yes, the editor supports charts and pivot tables. |
| Will the editor run macros in my files? | No, we do not allow macros to be run in the editor for security reasons. |
