The hide worksheet instruction allows a user to delete a particular worksheet from within an Excel file.
Before we get started
Please further create a ‘Manipulate Data’ action step so that you can add and use instructions.
The target file that we are going to use is a standard fresh Excel workbook which contains 3 empty worksheets.
1. Create a ‘Hide worksheet’ instruction.
2. Link the file named “Target” as the target file.
3. Select Sheet1.
4. Save and run the step.
5. After the step finishes running, download and open the target Excel file. Sheet1 will no longer be visible. If you right-click on any visible sheet in the worksheet Ribbon and select ‘Unhide...’, you will be able to see that Sheet1 is available to be unhidden.
