The Unhide column instruction allows a user to unhide a column within a particular Excel worksheet.
For the purposes of this article, we are going to use a simple and fictitious Excel file. It has already been uploaded into a data step. You will want to replace this file with one of your own.
Before we get started, please create a Manipulate data action step so that you can add and use instructions.
The target file that we are going to use looks like this:

Step-by-step guide
1. Select an Unhide column instruction:

2. Link the desired file as the target file.

3. Select the appropriate worksheet
4. Into the "Column to unhide" field, type “B”. This configures the step to unhide Column B.
- Please note that this instruction can only unhide one column at a time.
5. Save and run the step.
After the step finishes running, download and open the target file:
